While doing what you love and loving what you do is a cliched mantra of mine always, I still think it's safe to say we all breathe a bit of an exhale once the weekend does in fact roll around.  These pieces I'm sharing with you today are just what I think you'll want to get to all the places you'll likely be going in summer.

Neutral shades and easy silhouettes set the scene for all things summer and these pieces do that just so effortlessly.  It's amazing, in fact, how particular key items can really become the basics from which you can build so many flattering looks.

Let's start with the jumpsuit, shall we?  I have to say that I don't think there's ever been any single piece more versatile than this one.  And while the dress has earned quite some (well-deserved) praise over the years, it's still not quite as playfully nor easily adaptable as a playsuit.  Hence the name.

This one is so nicely made and looks quite lovely on.  I love the shoulder detailing and the ruched neckline that allows comfort and ease of wear for all bust lines large or small.  Just really flattering all around.  Then of course, you can quickly dress it either up or down depending upon where you're planning on going.  I know that I've worn it casually while sightseeing through town with these flats, some sunglasses and a sleek low pony tail.  But, you could easily take it into night with a swap of some strappy kitten heels, a nice clutch and some striking gold jewelry.

Daytime looks are also a great staple of any summertime wardrobe and you can never go wrong while starting off with the much-love resort shirt.  This one is just so good and can be paired and worn again in so many ways.  For today's look, I'm loving it in this neutral shade with some nicely tailored Bermuda shorts in white.  I put mine with these cream dad sandals (of which I am a fan) and this dark and light print tote for some added interest as well as to tie the look altogether a bit as it draws the eye towards the center while balancing the entire outfit top to bottom.

Summertime looks and really be just as easy as that although we often don't know it as we sometimes find that we're searching for more.  That doesn't really need to be the case and hopefully, todays pieces have clearly shown you that in quite a few ways.
