Out of all the things we missed out on last year, I think that summertime parties and events were one of the things I missed the most.  Thankfully, this year is a fresh slate and so many fun times are awaiting.  Personally, I have several bridal and baby related parties coming up over the next few months and that means finding fresh and fun outfits to wear.  Yes, I'm excited of course!

If you are ready to enjoy some of these celebrations too then this post may offer some inspo for what to wear.  For me, I know I always gravitate towards neutrals so blush, white and navy each suit me so very well.  

If the party is outside, say a garden bridal shower, then I see no reason not to add a wide brimmed hat to your look.  I love it with any of these three dresses here as it makes the perfect complement to each.  

Gorgeous handbags are yet another reason to love summer and warm weather celebrations are a great reason to wear them.  This blush colored one is my current favorite as it is just so very versatile and looks so chic when tied with a nice little scarf or hair tie.  Straw bags like these two here and here round out today's picks along with a classic pair of summer sandals that go with absolutely everything.  Clearly, money well spent.
