Hello and happy Monday!  It's official, summer has finally started now both on the calendar and in our minds.  That means the dress code likely calls for many more casual, relaxed and laid back outfits at the minute.  Today's look gains its inspiration from exactly that and is one that I'm going to be filing under the headline of 'uniform' moving forward.

Denim is always easy and carefree no matter if it is in the form of jeans or easy cutoffs.  Both of these options work effortlessly well with so much of what we'll all be reaching for right about now.  Personally, I love them paired with something simple like a white blouse or ivory tank.  It's a color scheme every complexion can carry and is so easy to accessorize in a number of pleasant ways.

For today, I've gone for a bit of a black and white neutral look which I love.  These sandals have soooo quickly become my absolute favorite footwear of the moment.  I will tell you that I used to absolutely run whenever I saw them but since that time, they have somehow found their way firmly into my heart, haha.  Really, they are just so versatile and easy to wear as well as comfortable that I have completely fallen in love.  

Other bits, such as a fun little baseball cap, straw tote and pair of classic aviators like these come together to round out the look and have you ready for an easy summer day.  Simple and chic and that's it.  I can't think of very much that I love more.
