It's spring and the style opportunities are plenty.  While I'll forever be a fall fashion girl at heart, I've really warmed up to all of the beautiful spring fashion options there are out there.  That is so true, in. fact, that today I found myself torn between two looks and I've ended up bringing them both to life here in today's post. So let's get started.

You know I love to keep styling choices clean and simple which to me results in the chicest of finished looks and that always seems to be what I'm going for.  Again, neutrals rule the day here and I love nothing more than building a look around classic, time-honored pieces styled in such a way that they still look modern and up to date.

Spring really wouldn't be spring without some sort of appearance from the striped sector.  This bateau neck top is one of my all time favorite styles.  I don't know what it is about it exactly, however, the iconic look has always been a huge part of my spring collection.  Something this classic can really be worn in an endless number of ways which is quite lovely.  For today's look, I've decided to dress it down with some trainers, basic blue jeans and a plain and simple handbag.  A nice pair of sunglasses and a bit of gold jewelry complete the look for me and I can happily go anywhere the casual spring day calls.

My second look is a bit more elevated but really only a slight bit.  A mix of warm neutrals lay the groundwork for a spring inspired lunch date or very low-key day at the office.  Balloon sleeve cardigans are one of my favorite layering pieces at the moment.  I really just love the way they effortlessly mesh with so many spring basics right now and complement so many looks.  I've decided to pair them up with some high-waisted denim in the softest shade of ivory.  Taupe colored mules will elevate anything you're wearing at the moment and I love them worn with this outfit here today.  Of course, my love of Loewe goes on and this tote works so beautifully here and directly on into the summer months ahead.  Again, some gold jewelry takes us from good to great and square framed sunglasses add the just right finishing touch I'm always after.
