Anyone else feeling it? Despite some of these really chilly temperatures, I can definitely tell you spring is in the air.  The extended daylight, slowly melting snow and chirping birds all let me know that lighter days won't be far away now.  

Whenever a new season rolls around, I always find myself happy and ready to completely shift gears.  And that brings us to today's post.  Lighter feels mean softer colors for me and these gorgeous shades of baby blue and neutrals are exactly what I'm loving right now. 

Casual looks are still reigning supreme and honestly, I couldn't be happier about that.  With that, jeans are tending to capture the spotlight.  But basic blue denim needn't be the only way to go.  Neutral shades are some of the latest options I've been reaching for.  

This high-waisted pair starts the outfit out with a completely fresh feel that allows you build your look in a great variety of ways.  Today I'm going with this chunky knit, light blue cardigan.  I absolutely love the soft color and easy to wear shoulder detailing.  I think this style is really very flattering on everyone and works as an easy layering piece depending upon what the weather decides to do.

Blazers are such a classic staple and they are absolutely perfect for transitional times of the year.  If haven't added any to your closet in a while, you may want to go with a single breasted option.  I love the slightly oversized fit of this one and can see myself wearing it with jeans, trousers, skirts and sleeves tanks moving forward.

Rounding out the look as always are some timeless accessories that complete the look in a chic yet relaxed way.  Mules have made a very big comeback and are perfect for spring and summer.  I love this pair for so many reasons...color, style and fit.  They have been selling out lately so if you do happen to find them in your size I recommend you add them to your cart.  A classic handbag in a beautiful neutral will take you effortlessly through the next two seasons and even on int the fall.  This one is a gorgeous pick.  Nude sunnies and dainty jewelry get me ever time.  This is no exception.

Together these pieces create a spring ready option to love.  And separately, they can each be paired with so many other closet favorites to create an endless number of looks.  And that is how you earn a place in my closet!
