Friday vibes are some of my favorite, how about you?  Even though our lives and how we're dressing has changed so much, one thing is for sure...we love our laidback weekend looks.  Today's post is dedicated to just that with a dash of one of my go-to color combos, black and tan.

Easy outfits are built upon basics.  In this case, it is a great-fitting pair of distressed black denim and an inky black mock neck sweater.  Both are versatile enough to work with an endless number of other pieces you own as well as together.  

Classic accessories are my top pick for adding just enough interest while keeping with the minimalist feel we're creating.  These sneakers are a must for me and also pair so well with so many things I love to wear (think blazers, denim and joggers).  Add in some cognac and tortoise bits like this bag and these sunnies and a gold watch for just the right amount of polish.

These nude lip glosses complement it all and this utility jacket tops it off while effortlessly pulling the entire look together.  And there you have it, easy pieces that are perfect for a laidback weekend.
