Good morning, Wednesday!  I think it's going to be a beautiful day and part of the reason why is because you hopefully set the tone for gorgeous beginnings when you woke up and looked in the mirror today.  Loving what you see staring back at you is such an important part of every day.  And no, not in a narcissistic way, but in the sense that you are happy with what you see and proud of the results your skincare efforts have made.

As a self-proclaimed skincare enthusiast (aka beauty junkie) I can tell you I love nothing more than trying new products, testing out their claims and letting you know if they are worth your precious time and hard-earned money.  Because let's be honest...none of the pretty things are cheap and when it comes to investing your cash you really want to get it right.  

So, let's take a moment to talk about a skincare line I'd been eyeing for a while and finally took the leap and giving it a try.  Before I do, I have to ask this question.  Has anyone gotten a glimpse of Candace Cameron Bure lately?  We loved her as DJ Tanner.  I follow her Hallmark movies somewhat obsessively, haha.  And now she is the face of, the once exclusive to celebs brand, Lancer skincare.  Let me say that as a brand that sells skincare if you're going to have a celebrity endorse your line, you may really want it to be her.

I can do the math and tell you that this girl is Benjamin Buttoning it at light speed.  Yes, she literally appears as though she is gracefully aging in reverse.  Her skin is bouncy, plump, hydrated and simply glows even while watching her from the lighting of her own home.

Surely, I thought, this requires a closer look that I, and all of you, need to take and possibly benefit from.  So with that, I pulled the trigger and bought into the Lancer: The Method three-step system to see for myself if results anywhere near what I was seeing could possibly be duplicated.

Fast forward to three months and several empties later and I am here to share with you all that yes, the results are real.  So much so that I am currently able to go makeup-free (and sometimes actually do!).  My skin has undergone a beautiful transformation and feels smoother, softer and way more hydrated than it ever did before my discovery of this brand began.

Now, there's always more to any story and that is true for this one as well.  Yes, the products are most definitely that good.  But, I have to be completely honest and tell you that I've been coupling them with another product known as the GloPRO, which has hands down increased the effectiveness of this regime as well as any other you may be using.  That, however, is a story I will happily be sharing with you in an upcoming post so stay tuned as it is not something you will want to miss.  

Okay, so back this three-step regime.  I have to think...has there ever been a skincare routine that only consisted of three steps? Ever?  Not that I can remember, leastwise not one that produced results let alone the phenomenal improvments I've seen already.  They are quite simple and include The Polish, The Cleanse and Nourish.  You may notice that the order of those three seems transposed.  They're not.  Traditionally, skincare lines have outlined the clean, scrub, treat step by step guide but Dr. Lancer has put polishing the skin at the top of the list.  He explains that far better than I do and you can read more about the hows and whys of it here on their website.

Next, you're simply left to rebalance, rehydrate and treat your freshly washed face or as the Lancer line says, nourish.   The little jar of goodness is the perfect drink of skin cushioning ingredient which my face now simply craves.  Yes, it is that good.  Let's just say the marketing team knew what they had their hands on when they named it.  Even with the cooler days we've been having, my skin is completely happy with this one.

Now, while you can simply stick to this three-step program and be completely happy, I wouldn't feel right not sharing this next item with all of you.  Caviar Lime Acid Peel.  Yes, the first two have me looking forward to date night and the last sound like nothing I'd ever want touching my face but I can tell you that they all form the absolute BEST skincare cocktail I've ever tried.  And that is saying a lot.  This effectively infused cream combines acids and retinol to create a gentle exfoliation that takes away literally everything you don't want on your face and reveals the most beautiful baby skin that you haven't seen in years.  All that and it smells like the sweet breeze of a delicious girlie cocktail, no lie.


The combination of these dream creams has impressed me so much that it was to the point I had to let you know.  And, if you've been following me for any length of time, you know it takes a lot for something in the beauty world to truly impress me.  I'm difficult like that, haha.
