Can you feel that? Yes, there's a frenzy building in the air…The annual Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is almost here! Forgive me for getting giddy but this sale is in fashion terms, epic and not to be missed by anyone who loves style and loves saving (big!) even more. And yes, while most sales are on after season markdowns where you can score great deals, this one is a major savings bonanza on pre-season styles at prices you'll love as much as the looks! Ok, so as with many things in life, navigating this sale is all about strategy.
Take some moments to quickly inventory your closet and try and figure out where and what needs replenishing the most. Because, even if it's a phenomenal deal it won't be as incredible if you're buying up things you already own or don't really need. Another great thing to keep in mind is categorization. I know for me, this sale is the time to stock up on the staples I love and need for the upcoming season as well as score those incredible investment pieces at prices that won't see the light of day again until next year at this time. If I had a dollar for every time someone fell in love with something I bought at the Nsale, I'd have even more to spend on great bargains, haha. But seriously, know your wardrobe and know it well. Are you like me and know that those 40% riding boots you're drooling over will pay for themselves with the cost per wear price as you enjoy them on repeat? Is a classic, well-made handbag your go-to item come fall? I've been eyeing the latest street-chic option Rebecca Minkoff will have available starting tomorrow during their Early Access event days for cardholders. Do not hesitate to check out it or other great items and pieces you're adoring as I can tell you from past experiences (none of which were too pretty!) these fly off shelves before first day's end. So ladies and gentlemen, I say get your game plan ready now and let's shop!
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale begins tomorrow, July 14th with early access for card holders and opens to the public July 22. Get your N Card now…Prices go up August 8th.
xx ~ Kelly
