Happy Friday, loves!  The weekend is here and for most of us that means a more relaxed attitude and wardrobe to go with it.  While I've always been a sweater girl for as long as I can remember, my current  closet crave is the cape.  Sometimes known as the poncho, this piece takes everything I love about a cozy sweater and raises it up a notch or two.  Oh, I just love it!  Easy lines, a flirty swing and a fashion forward flavor, the cape is the wear anywhere must-have I'm loving right now.  

 When it comes to styling it, the options are endless.  The way I like it best is casually worn with Saturday denim, tall boots and an easy shoulder bag.  This look works on everybody and is perfect for a Saturday stroll or day around town.  This check plaid version from Ted Baker is one of my favorites this season.  I especially love how you can dress it up with these boots or down with a pair of Hunters.  When reaching for a fall-inspired dress, this poncho is the perfect topper with its adorable pocket detailing and easy-to-wear feel.  Celebs seem to be feeling the look too as is the case with style girls Olivia Palermo and Rosie Huntington.  They both look fabulous in this monogrammed color-blocked blanket poncho.  Ahhh-mazing.
