One of the most American of all holidays, July 4th, calls for sand in between your toes and sea salt in the air aka an American summer.  One of my favorite places to get away to each year is the New England coast.  Peppered with white sandy beaches, rocky shorelines and miles of patriotic flair, it is home to the American spirit and with that, its well-worn style.  Classic inspiration, made iconic by the likes of Jackie Kennedy, still claims some of the most coveted of modern summer style.  Here are some of my favorite red, white and blue beach looks and locales with inspiration from the lovely Sarah Vickers of Classy Girls Wear Pearls.  This scalloped hem shell dress and little gingham number are already packed to go…Happy birthday America!
