It happens this way every year.  It's August and there you are happily enjoying this magnificent month, filled with end of the summer beach days and getaways.  From shorts to sunnies, you've got it covered.  Then, suddenly, next thing you know, it's fall and all your well-worn summertime favorites find their way to the back of the closet leaving room for....potential wardrobe panic.

If you're not careful, this could be a problem.  Not for you, however, you season savvy girl.  Having been around this fashion block before, you know that now is the time to brush up on your next season basics as well as save some time and money.  Pre-season sales are happening now and these fall staples are what you'll soon want and need.  With the sizes and options you really want available now, let's get shopping!

ABOVE, TOP LEFT to RIGHT: A great leather jacket and crave-worthy it bag.  From splurge (like this, this and this) to budget-friendly (seen here, here and here), the choices are fantastic.

CENTER, LEFT to RIGHT:  Boots get a workout all fall and winter long.  It's worth investing a little bit more into a pair that will keep up with you, as you put them through the paces.  Affordable luxury designer, Tory Burch always has more than a few lovely options just like this year's design.
Anything animal print will be a welcomed "getting dressed option" once again this fall.  This leopard print dress is an eye-catcher with comfort and style.  Keep it casual with a layered blouse and a pair of booties or take it out with heels, a clutch and a great necklace or earrings.

BOTTOM, LEFT to RIGHT:  Sweater season is about to begin and nothing feels better than throwing on a cozy oversized boyfriend style knit.  Whether worn well with a chambray blouse and denim skinnies or glammed up with a fun faux fur stole, this is quite possibly my favorite fall weather wear-with-all.
